«Dr. Detroit» TRANSMISSION TX-20 is a high pressure Hydrostatic TREATMENT for automatic transmissions and hydraulic systems, conceived to resist high operating temperatures regarding the different charges applied while accelerating or whatever towing.
TX 20 protects internal parts against friction, oxidation corrosion (rust), and wear. The use of TX 20 is a prime necessity because of the seldom "trany" oil changes performed, which in time create internal residues and gums that coagulate, creating obstruction to the oil passages (Servos are oil trajectories permitting the gears to shift) causing slippery gear shifts, and faulty or hesitant gear engagements.
